Character Background

Tom Aspel appeared in the very first adventure and was a constant member of the cast in this series of adventures. He was the Commander of the Police force that had been chasing after Larna for years. At first he hated everything about Larna, but something Larna did in the past changed things during one adventure. He was in his early to mid fifties, and was a big man. He would end up being the father of Shadow. But, in the course of the series, Tom would be considered to be one of the most powerful men in New Arizona. However, that power placed him in a position to be shot at by every criminal element in the city of New Arizona.

Tom went on to marry Lauren Delaney, Larna's half sister, in a weird twist that made him not only her boss, but her brother-in-law.
